OSHKOSH GIANTS COMPLETE FOUR GAME SWEEP OF CAVALIERS WITH 7-1 AND 5-4 WINS

The Giants run their record in the Wisconsin State League to 7-1, by winnning both ends of a doubleheader at E.J Schneider Memorial Field on Sunday, June 22nd.

In game one, the Giants jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the fourth inning and cruised to a 7-1 win. Brad Demmin lead the hitting, going 4 for 4 with 3 RBI. Lucas Wirth and Kyle Kannenberg each added 2 hits. The winning pitcher was Eric Schmitz.

In game two, the Giants overcame a 4-1 deficit in the bottom of the sixth inning with RBI singles from Brad Demmin and Paul Heinkel. The winning run came in the bottom of the seventh on a one out single by Derek Hiroskey that allowed Kannenberg to score the winning run. The winning pitcher was Luke Vosz.

Brad Demmin finished the day 6 for 8 with two doubles and 4 RBI. Kyle Kannenberg was 4 for 8 with a triple and 2 RBI.
